Safeguarding Children Level 1-3

Safeguarding Children and Young People Levels 1-3 covers the knowledge and competences needed by health and social care professionals to safeguard the welfare of children. It includes Level 3 Safeguarding Children for Consultant doctors and career grade Paediatricians.

Levels 1, 2 and 3 safeguarding modules. Level 1 covers child protection categories, legal requirements, staff responsibilities, response to concerns, multi-agency working, communication and documentation. Level 3 includes seven case-based learning sessions on safeguarding competences.
