  • ZeST replicates the benefits of face-to-face games in a simple web-based tool that anyone can use. It does not require any training or special technology.

ZeST games are designed to be played during group meetings on Zoom, Skype, Teams, WebEx. There is no direct link between ZeST and these meetings platforms. The facilitator just shares their ZeST screen with the group.

The actual games are designed to be very simple to manage allowing the facilitator to concentrate on encouraging and maintaining group discussions.

ZeST games will help you to recreate the energy and discussions you’d get during a face-to-face game.

A single licence gives you unrestricted access to a specific game on the ZeST platform for 12 months. A single licence allows one online game session to be run at any time. However, you can invite as many participants as you wish to each session and you can organise as many back-to-back game sessions as you need. You can also purchase additional licenses.

  • Supporting patients and residents to be well hydrated is the responsibility of all health and social care staff. The Hydration Game helps frontline staff to develop their understanding of the impact and consequences of hydration and recognise when people in their care might be at risk of becoming dehydrated. It also helps them to focus on practical changes they could make in their workplace, implementing creative solutions to improve people’s fluid intake.

The game contains 3 packs of cards: General questions, Discussion questions, and a Staff Questions pack, which allows players to play a separate game where they’ll learn how to improve their own hydration at work. The Hydration Game is a team game which allows conversations to develop around improving hydration for patients and residents. These discussions allow players to share knowledge, learn from each other and improve the way they work.

    Players will learn about:

    • Recognising dehydration
    • Understanding its impact and consequences
    • Encouraging and supporting increased fluid intake
    • Implementing creative approaches to improving hydration
