Step into the shoes of a student nurse in this immersive, escape-room-style simulation designed to teach delirium recognition and management. Set in a realistic hospital room, players care for Rick Zachary, a 92-year-old patient recovering from hip surgery. Through interactive puzzles, mini-games, and clinical clues, students assess symptoms, manage care priorities, and piece together the PINCHME framework to identify delirium. Each solved riddle not only advances the storyline but reinforces evidence-based nursing practice and communication skills. The game culminates in a family handover call—bringing together empathy, critical thinking, and teamwork.
