Themes include disclosure of abuse, unexplained injuries, disability and neglect, roles and responsibilities, child safeguarding procedures and multi-agency working.

  • Level 1: overview of child protection, legal requirements and implications, roles and responsibilities, responding to safeguarding concerns, multi-agency working, effective communication, defensive documentation. Level 2: for clinical staff with regular contact with children or adults who may pose a risk to children.
